G2legal has partnered with a leading social housing practice in Birmingham to recruit a Conveyancing Solicitor. You will advise Registered Providers on high-value property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and development projects.

The role offers hybrid working, training and development opportunities, and a supportive team. 3+ years' PQE and strong drafting and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years PQE or equivalent in property
• Experience in acquisitions, disposals or development
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
• Commercially minded with risk awareness

Conveyancing Solicitor - Birmingham

A leading social housing practice is looking to appoint a Conveyancing Solicitor to join its nationally recognised team.

You will work alongside experienced Partners, advising Registered Providers of Social Housing on high-value property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, stock rationalisation and complex affordable housing developments.

The Role

• Advise on large-scale property acquisitions and disposals, including portfolio transactions.
• Support complex development projects, including joint ventures, site acquisitions, development agreements and overage arrangements.
• Draft and negotiate property and development documentation.
• Work closely with clients and specialist teams to identify and manage legal risk.
• Support and mentor junior colleagues.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE or equivalent experience.
• Strong property acquisition, disposal and/or development experience.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Commercially minded with a practical approach to risk.
• Able to manage multiple transactions and take ownership of workstreams.
