An established, full-service law firm is looking to recruit a Residential Property Solicitor for its Birmingham office. This CQS-accredited conveyancing team forms part of a firm with a network of offices across the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor in Birmingham to take on a full caseload with autonomy, supported by conveyancing assistants and a well-established local client base.

The Role
- Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Dealing with remortgages and equity release transactions
- Investigating and verifying freehold and leasehold titles
- Handling transfers of equity and matrimonial property matters
- Supervising and mentoring conveyancing assistants
- Developing relationships with clients and contacts in the local area
- Cross-referring clients to other departments across the firm
- Working in line with CQS protocols and the firm's compliance requirements
The Candidate
- Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive with at least 5 years' full-time fee earning experience
- Hands-on experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload
- Strong technical knowledge across sales, purchases, remortgages, equity release and transfers of equity
- Good knowledge of the local area and its property market
- Experience supervising or mentoring support staff
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Well organised with strong attention to detail
- Committed to CQS protocols and high professional standards
- Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
