Job summary

G2Legal is seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal in Birmingham with home ownership experience to manage a varied caseload for Registered Providers of Social Housing, from instruction to completion under supervision.

You will handle shared ownership staircasing, lease extensions, buybacks, deeds of variation, enfranchisement and other residential property matters in a client-focused team. Hybrid working 3–4 days from home is available, with strong development opportunities.

• A good understanding of conveyancing risk, regulatory requirements and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload for Registered Providers of Social Housing from instruction through to completion under supervision.
• Handle a range of home ownership and residential property matters including shared ownership staircasing, lease extensions, buybacks, deeds of variation/covenant, lease surrender/regrant, enfranchisement and auction sales.

Are you an experienced Property Paralegal/Case Handler with specific experience in home ownership matters looking to join a law firm that can provide genuine progression prospects, technical work along with genuine flexibility to work mostly from home?

The role

This reputable Legal 500 law firm in Birmingham is seeking a specialist in home ownership matters to carry a caseload for Registered Providers of Social Housing, handling matters from instruction through to completion under supervision. The role offers varied, client-focused work within a specialist property practice

The role will involve a varied range of home ownership and residential property matters, including:

• Shared ownership staircasing and final staircasing transactions
• Lease extensions
• Buyback transactions
• Deeds of variation and deeds of covenant
• Lease surrender and regrant arrangements
• Residential enfranchisement matters
• Auction sales
