Law Staff Ltd, a well-established law firm with offices in London and Brighton, seeks an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases. You will handle remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build matters while providing clear legal advice to clients.

The role requires a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in residential conveyancing, excellent client

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
• Minimum 5 years' PQE in residential conveyancing.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing procedures and property law.
• Excellent client care, communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, commercially aware and able to work under pressure; case management system experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Handling remortgages, transfers of equity, new build properties and Right to Buy matters.
• Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients.
• Liaising with estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors and other third parties.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts and related documentation.
• Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Position Overview

• Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
• Work in a fast-paced environment delivering a high standard of client care
• Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients
• Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the department
• Exposure to a high volume of high-quality conveyancing work

Key Responsibilities of the Conveyancing Solicitor

• Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Handling remortgages, transfers of equity, new build properties and Right to Buy matters
• Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients
• Liaising with estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors and other third parties
• Drafting and reviewing contracts and related documentation
• Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements of the Conveyancing Solicitor

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales
