Job summary

Talentwise Solutions Legal Recruitment Ltd is looking for a Qualified Conveyancer / Head of Department in Bromsgrove to lead an established conveyancing team. The role involves managing a busy caseload, mentoring staff, and maintaining strong client and professional relations.

The successful candidate will have around 10 years of experience and fully qualified status (solicitor/CLE/CLC) with a sound knowledge of conveyancing compliance. Office-based role with a competitive salary.

Responsibilities

• Run a conveyancing caseload including freehold/leasehold sales and purchases, new-builds, shared ownership and lease extensions.
• Manage transactions from instruction to completion.
• Lead and mentor the conveyancing team and support staff.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and property professionals.
• Develop introducer relationships and contribute to new business.

Location: Bromsgrove - Office-based

Salary: £55,000 to £70,000 commensurate with experience

What you’ll be doing

• Running a conveyancing caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchase transactions, new-build and shared ownership transactions, and lease extensions
• Managing transactions from instruction to completion
• Managing an established conveyancing team, including a qualified fee earner and support staff
• Supporting and mentoring colleagues within the team
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients and property professionals
• Developing introducer relationships and contributing to new business

Who we're looking for
