Job summary

GMP Recruitment Agency Limited is assisting a Cheltenham-based law firm in recruiting a Conveyancing Executive to join the Residential Property team on a full-time, permanent contract. An immediate start can be available.

Office-based role with up to £30,000 DOE. You will support freehold and leasehold transactions, manage files from instruction through to completion, and liaise with clients, agents, lenders and solicitors. This is a collaborative environment to advance your career.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience supporting a residential conveyancing team.
• Solid understanding of the residential conveyancing process from instruction to post-completion.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and strong client care.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Preparing contract packs and legal documentation.
• Managing files from instruction through to completion under supervision.
• Carrying out searches and Land Registry applications.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors.
• Preparing completion statements and supporting post-completion work.
• Maintaining accurate case management records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least two years' experience supporting a conveyancing team who is looking to develop their career within a collaborative and professional environment. Working alongside experienced solicitors and conveyancers, you will play a key role in ensuring residential property transactions progress efficiently while delivering an exceptional level of client service.

The Role:

Required Skills and Experience:

• Have a minimum of two years' experience supporting a residential conveyancing team
• Possess a good understanding of the residential conveyancing process from instruction through to post-completion
• Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Have strong communication and client care skills
• Be confident managing a busy workload and prioritising tasks effectively
• Have experience using case management systems (desirable but not essential)
• Be proactive, adaptable and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
