Job summary

Oculus Legal Group in Coventry is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join a supportive team. You will manage a varied caseload, including freehold and leasehold sales, remortgages and transfers of equity, from instruction to completion.

This role offers management responsibility, a non-volume caseload with a focus on quality over quantity, strong admin support, and genuine progression within a supportive culture. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in residential conveyancing.
• Experience handling a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
• Mentor juniors and manage cases from instruction to completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied residential property caseload including sales and purchases.
• Oversee remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Lead and support junior team members and ensure quality over quantity.
• Ensure transactions progress from instruction through to completion with accuracy.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join a well-established and supportive team in Coventry.

This role would suit someone with 5+ years’ experience in residential conveyancing who is looking to move away from a high-volume environment and join a firm where the focus is firmly on quality over quantity.

The Role

You will manage a varied residential property caseload, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages and transfers of equity
• More complex residential property matters
• Managing transactions from instruction through to completion

Alongside your own caseload, the position offers management responsibility, the opportunity to support and develop more junior members of the team and a clear pathway for further career progression.

You will benefit from full administrative support, allowing you to focus on providing a high-quality service to clients rather than being overwhelmed by unnecessary administration or unrealistic volume targets.
