Job summary

G2legal in Banbury is looking for an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to manage a varied caseload and mentor junior staff.

This role offers a competitive salary between £55,000 and £75,000, plus bonus and genuine progression opportunities in a hybrid working environment. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of PQE and strong technical expertise in residential conveyancing.

Qualifications

• Strong technical residential conveyancing experience.
• Confident managing complex files independently.
• 5+ years’ PQE as a Solicitor, CILEX or Licensed Conveyancer.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion.
• Handle sales, purchases, leasehold, shared ownership, transfers of equity, remortgages and new build matters.
• Support and mentor junior fee earners and support staff.

Senior Conveyancing Solicitor | Licensed Conveyancer | CILEX | Residential Property Lawyer

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join its growing Property Department in Banbury.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and commercially minded Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive looking to step into a leadership role while continuing to manage a high-quality residential conveyancing caseload.

The successful candidate will support the Head of Department in leading a busy multi-office team, mentoring junior staff and helping drive the continued growth of the department.

The Role

• Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion
• Handle sales, purchases, leasehold, shared ownership, transfers of equity, remortgages and new build matters
• Support and mentor junior fee earners and support staff
• Assist with compliance, AML, Lexcel and CQS procedures
• Support departmental growth, networking and business development initiatives
• Help drive team performance, billing and client service standards

About You

• 5+ years’ PQE as a Solicitor, CILEX or Licensed Conveyancer
• Strong technical residential conveyancing experience
• Confident managing complex files independently
• Supervisory or mentoring experience preferred
• Commercially aware with excellent client care skills
• Strong understanding of AML, SRA and conveyancing compliance requirements
