Hunter Selection is partnering with a growing engineering business near Bournemouth to recruit a Controls Design Engineer. You will design control systems for bespoke automation and oversee from concept through commissioning, collaborating with project, software, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a controls design engineer.
- Experience creating wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks; training will be provided.
- HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical control systems for automated machinery.
- Create electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar.
- Select PLCs, HMIs, drives, motors, sensors, and safety equipment.
- Develop PLC and HMI software for machine control.
- Ensure compliance with CE/UKCA and relevant industry standards.
- Support build, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Test, fault-find, and troubleshoot control systems.
