Job summary

DSV Bristol is seeking a Control Tower Assistant to support daily operations, address irregularities, and ensure compliance with security, safety and environmental standards. The role requires clear communication with customers and suppliers and accurate data handling.

You will contribute to end-to-end supply chain management, KPI reporting, and continuous process improvement while maintaining high attention to detail and composure under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience using MS Office for data and reporting.
• Strong analytical approach to problem solving is required.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day irregularities and escalate when appropriate.
• Provide exceptional customer service, liaising with customers and suppliers.
• Follow site SOPs and IOPs and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate and timely operational data and transport records.
• Monitor KPIs and provide data for reporting and performance reviews.
• Be flexible, adaptable and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.

DSV are recruiting for a Control Tower Assistant in Bristol. This role will ensure smooth operations by handling day-to-day irregularities, liaising with customers and suppliers, and maintaining compliance with security, safety, company, and environmental regulations. What will you be doing?

• Responsible for tasks with medium-high complexity
• Handle day to day irregularities, escalating when appropriate.
• To provide an exceptional customer service, liaising with customers & suppliers
• Provide support for their team, completing additional tasks when required.
• Follow site SOPs and IOPs
• Compliance with security, safety, company and environmental regulations.
• Ensure compliance with agreed SLAs
• Manage end to end supply chain networks
• Ensure proactive monitoring, track and trace and escalation of supply chain risks are communicated and mitigated.
• Maintain accurate and timely operational data, systems and transport records ensuring cross system data integrity.
• To understand and provide accurate data for KPI monitoring, operational reporting and performance reviews.
  Can work under pressure and be focused with good attention to detail.
