Job summary

Arvato in Wellingborough is hiring a Control Tower Operator to join our busy logistics team. You will monitor daily activity, coordinate workflows and act as a central point across operations to ensure service levels meet customer requirements.

This full-time, permanent on-site role runs Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:00pm, with a salary up to £30,293.62 per year. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, warehouse, transport or supply chain.
• Experience on WMS SAP - essential.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operational activity and performance across the site.
• Coordinate and prioritise workflows to support the smooth running of the operation.
• Identify operational issues, delays and exceptions and take appropriate action within our SAP WMS system.
• Work closely with warehouse, transport, planning and management teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor KPIs and operational data, highlighting trends and areas requiring attention.
• Maintain accurate records and provide clear and timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Support the investigation and resolution of operational problems.
• Ensure processes and procedures are followed consistently.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.

Salary: Up to£30,293.62 per annum

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and solution-focused, with excellent attention to detail.

You will ideally have:

• Experience in a logistics, warehouse, transport, supply chain or environment.
• Experience on WMS SAP- essential
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and other operational systems.
• The ability to analyse information and identify issues quickly.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• A calm and professional approach when working under pressure.
• The confidence to communicate with colleagues at all levels.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
