Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Control Room Controller to oversee daily security operations at the site, supporting the Control Room Supervisor and site management. The role includes access control programming, CCTV review, logging visitors, and maintaining high standards of security across the site.

The role requires SIA and CCTV licensing, Security Control Room experience, and strong communication skills. You will work as part of a dedicated team to ensure incident response and compliant security

Qualifications

• Valid SIA license and CCTV license.
• Experience in Security Control Room operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage workloads.
• Flexible and adaptable to change; able to set standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Security Control Room.
• Assist with programming of access control cards and authorisation checks.
• Log all visitors and monitor remote door access.
• Review CCTV footage for evidential purposes and maintain records.
• Ensure all operatives comply with SIA requirements and wear uniform.
• Coordinate with other security teams and respond to incidents as needed.
