Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Control Room Controller to provide daily oversight of the Security Control Room and support the Site Management team. The role includes logging visitors, managing access control, and ensuring compliance with data protection requirements.

You will work with the Control Room Supervisor to maintain high standards and respond to incidents. Ideal candidates will hold a valid SIA license, CCTV license, and have prior Control Room experience with strong communication and leadership

Qualifications

SIA and CCTV licenses are required for the role.
Proven security control room experience is essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are expected.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage workloads.
Ability to organise, prioritise and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the Control Room and support the Control Room Supervisor.
Have daily oversight of security operations and reporting to site management.
Log and audit access control, visitor logs and door activity.
Monitor CCTV and other security systems; escalate incidents per SOPs.
Assist with rostering and welfare of security officers.
Maintain professional standards and ensure compliance with policies.
