Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in designing and architecting Control M solutions, with a focus on strategic planning and roadmap development.
  • Deep technical expertise with Control M, including experience with plugins, integrations, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Broad IT infrastructure knowledge, coupled with understanding of cybersecurity compliance and operational resilience.
  • Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives and managing organizational change within complex IT environments.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with observability tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, and implementing open telemetry.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline integration, and process automation.
  • Relevant certifications, e.g., BMC Certified Associate or Professional in Control M 21x, or equivalent experience, are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive strategy by creating a holistic end-to-end Control M strategy that aligns vendor insights with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap for 1-3 years, outlining priorities and future objectives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the Control M vendor, influencing their roadmap based on internal feedback.
  • Collaborate with business units and IT stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and technical briefings to ensure organizational alignment.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-departmental relationships to facilitate collaboration and adoption of initiatives.
  • Lead testing strategy, including designing testing frameworks and automating functional and non-functional tests.
  • Architect a proactive monitoring system using tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, and open telemetry for real-time issue detection.
  • Design and implement automated operational processes to improve efficiency.

Feature Innovation & Self-Service Enablement:

  • Identify and prioritize new features based on user and management feedback.
  • Develop self-service tools and automated solutions to enhance user experience and ensure compliance.
  • Define and implement the DevOps strategy, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Establish a cybersecurity framework tailored to Control M environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
