Cabot Corporation is seeking a Control and Instrumentation Engineer to oversee the IT and OT systems at their facility in Aberystwyth, Wales. In this role, you will ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while optimizing plant performance.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of DCS and PLC systems, a BSc in Chemical Engineering, and experience with Cybersecurity protocols. This position offers a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of DCS, PLC and Data Historian systems.
• Experience with Emerson DeltaV and various PLC architectures.
• Understanding of Cybersecurity protocols.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety compliance and promote a safety-first environment.
• Support Root-Cause-Analysis for plant performance.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for site IT and OT systems.
