Job summary

Cabot Corporation is seeking a Senior EC&I Engineer in the United Kingdom to oversee the reliability, safety, and performance of electrical, control and instrumentation systems at a high-hazard site.

You will lead maintenance strategies, support capital projects and ensure compliance with DSEAR and site standards while collaborating with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, SHE and contractors.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with significant experience.
• Experience in engineering and maintenance roles within a related industry.
• Experience of Process Safety management including Hazop / PHA, LOPA, SIL/SIS, DSEAR, Management of change.
• Knowledge of Capital Project management including design, construction, commissioning and start-up.

Responsibilities

• Owns and manages site electrical infrastructure and maintenance programs.
• Lead safety-first culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide leadership to Electrical & Instrument Technicians.
• Support capital projects and small scale projects.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, SHE, Purchasing and external contractors.
• Issue Safe Work Permits and manage electrical works.
