Job summary
Technical Partners International in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Control & Instrumentation Technician to install, maintain and troubleshoot advanced EC&I systems, ensuring safety and quality standards across projects.
You will collaborate with engineering, operations and maintenance teams, perform system upgrades, and mentor junior staff while upholding strict health, safety and environmental protocols. A proactive problem solver is essential.
Qualifications
- EC&I systems expertise required.
- Compex 01-04 qualification or experience.
- Hands-on PLC/DCS/SCADA experience.
- Knowledge of instrumentation, control loops and fieldbus protocols (HART, Modbus, Profibus).
- Familiarity with ATEX, HAZOP, SIL safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and upgrade EC&I systems.
- Perform functional tests and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations and maintenance teams.
- Assist installation, commissioning and modifications.
- Interpret drawings and project documentation.
- Follow health, safety and environmental protocols.
- Mentor junior staff.
