Job summary

Cabot Corporation is seeking a Senior Maintenance Supervisor to lead site maintenance activities, manage a team of Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians, and drive reliability and safety across the plant in Wales, United Kingdom.

You will coordinate with Operations, Engineering, SHE and Purchasing to optimize maintenance plans, support major shutdowns, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset performance.

Qualifications

• HNc or above in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Significant experience in maintenance and reliability in a large process/manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing/maintenance setting.
• Experience with safe work permit systems (electrical, working at height, hot work, line break, crane permits, excavation permits and roof permits).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Mechanical and Instrument/Electrical Technicians.
• Manage maintenance resources to support operational requirements and unplanned breakdown recovery.
• Drive continuous improvement in Reliability and Overall Equipment Effectiveness through RCA, FMEA, RCM and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, SHE and Engineering to manage contractors and support capital projects.
