adi Group is seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to design, develop and implement PLC, HMI and SCADA control systems for automated processes on Wirral. You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure performance, reliability and safety across sectors including food, beverage, chemical, marine and materials handling.

Qualifications

Experience in control systems with PLC, HMI and SCADA.
Understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

Liaise with clients to understand requirements and prepare costed proposals.
Design, develop and program PLC, HMI and SCADA control systems to customer specs.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Collaborate with electrical design, process safety and control software engineers on turnkey automation.
Develop PLC software using Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) or Siemens platforms.
Design and implement HMI and SCADA systems.
