Job summary

Charnwood Borough Council is seeking a dedicated Contracts Officer to support the Team Leader and Contracts Manager in ensuring the most efficient use of our waste, recycling and environment services across the Borough.

You will supervise contractors, manage workloads via the CRM, advise residents on service usage, and deliver excellent customer service. Agile working, generous annual leave and Local Government Pension Scheme are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in waste management, environmental services and contract monitoring.
• A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Good organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor contractors according to KPIs.
• Manage workloads and handle service requests, enquiries and complaints via CRM.
• Provide advice to residents to ensure effective use of services including waste, recycling and street cleansing.
• Deliver excellent customer service to resolve enquiries efficiently.
