Overview

Contracts Manager - new build alterations – Ipswich and surrounding areas. £75,000 to £85,000 plus package. Our client is a respected contractor specialising in commercial projects, with a portfolio comprising 50% new build developments and 50% refurbishment and alteration works. Their projects span hospitals, hotels, schools, and heritage buildings, with a strong presence across Ipswich and the surrounding areas. This is a permanent appointment to support growth and an expanding workload.

Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership and management of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Oversee site teams, project managers, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Uphold and promote the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Candidate Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in managing multiple commercial new build and refurbishment projects.
  • Proven leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and motivate project teams.
  • Strong financial and contractual management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes and health and safety procedures.
  • A valid SMSTS card.
  • A valid CSCS card.
