Job summary

Caval Ltd is recruiting a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple drylining and fire protection contracts across Yorkshire and surrounding regions. You will lead projects from pre-start to final account, ensuring safe delivery on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

The role involves coordinating with clients, site teams, commercial teams, and subcontractors, with a focus on strong client relationships and budget control.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the drylining, partitioning, ceilings, or passive fire protection industry.
• Strong knowledge of drylining systems and fire protection installations.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong commercial awareness and budget management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to build lasting relationships with clients and project teams.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple drylining and passive fire protection contracts simultaneously.
• Plan, programme, and coordinate projects from commencement to completion.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and programme performance.
• Ensure all works comply with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, main contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Attend site meetings and carry out regular site inspections.
• Manage labour resources and subcontractor performance.
• Identify and resolve project risks and technical issues.
• Work closely with the commercial team on valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Ensure quality standards are achieved and client expectations are exceeded.
