Contracts Manager

Location: East Midlands, Northamptonshire, Northampton

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Monday to Friday

Primary Industry: Construction, New Build Housing

Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 Per annum

Company Overview:

A quality-focused housing developer with an outstanding reputation in the industry is looking for a seasoned Contracts Manager to join their team. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple sites and teams across the Northamptonshire area.

Job Duties:

1. Oversee and manage multiple construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
2. Coordinate with site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
3. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
4. Manage client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on all sites.

Required Qualifications:

1. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
2. CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
3. First Aid certification
4. NVQ Level 6 or 7 in Construction Management
5. Full UK Driving Licence

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Contracts Manager for a housing developer.

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Strong understanding of construction project management principles.
2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
3. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Working Conditions:

The role involves regular travel to construction sites across the Northamptonshire area. The Contracts Manager may be required to work flexible hours to accommodate project needs.
