This role is based remotely, with travel to sites and the EU as required.
The projects involve Offshore Wind Farms, so experience with service and maintenance contracts in wind farms, oil & gas offshore projects, or power generation projects is essential.
You will be responsible for identifying, notifying, substantiating, and resolving claims within warranty, service, maintenance, and repair contracts.
You will also work to enhance claims awareness and competence within the client organization.
Your duties include collaborating with colleagues to prepare and follow up on claims, as well as promoting, guiding, training, and raising awareness about claims management.
You should be capable of managing yourself and others effectively.
THE CLIENT
The client is a firm of claims and contracts consultants based in the EU.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is an experienced CLAIMS & CONTRACTS MANAGER with a strong background in contracts management, contract administration, claims management, and correspondence.
You must have experience in issuing contractual notices and preparing claims.
A degree qualification is likely, possibly complemented by an MSc in Construction Law or similar, and ideally Chartered status as a Quantity Surveyor (MRICS), with solid knowledge of contracts management and claims.
You should be able to work independently and possess excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Experience with service, maintenance, and repair contracts in wind farms, power generation, or oil & gas projects is required.
Fluent English, both written and spoken, is essential.
