Job summary

PWS Technical Services (UK) Ltd. is actively recruiting a Contracts Engineer to join our growing ground and geotechnical projects team in the UK. You will oversee site contracts, coordinate regional teams, and ensure safe, on-time and profitable delivery across multiple schemes.

The role requires a hands-on, pragmatic leader who can review designs, manage clients and subcontractors, and drive continuous improvement in delivery, quality and commercial performance across a varied workload.

Qualifications

• Experience in contracts, projects or site roles within ground engineering.
• Hands-on attitude with client, subcontractors and teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, programme and deliver contracts with regional team and subcontractors in accordance with company policy.
• Review estimates and designs to ensure buildability; lead projects from receipt of order to completion.
• Attend pre-contract and regular site meetings with client, agents and key sub-contractors to ensure smooth running of contracts.
• Inspect works to ensure QA procedures and specifications; ensure schemes delivered per designs and specs.
• Ensure HSEQ plans and RAMS are prepared for contracts in accordance with policy.
• Attend regular meetings with contracts team to provide progress reports and propose improvements for successful delivery.
• Provide technical and operational input into estimates for schemes; assist in pre-tender proposals.
• Ensure commercial team is provided with information to support variations and final accounts.
