Job summary

PWS Technical Services (UK) Ltd seeks a Contracts Engineer to oversee ground and geotechnical projects across multiple sites. You will support the Contracts Manager, manage site teams, and resolve technical, operational and commercial issues to ensure safe, timely delivery.

The role emphasises planning, pre-contract liaison, site inspections, RAMS and QA compliance, with a hands-on, pragmatic client-facing approach to secure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in contracts, projects or site role within the ground engineering sector.
• Hands-on, pragmatic approach with client and subcontractors.
• Ability to review designs for buildability and lead from order to completion.

Responsibilities

• Plan, programme and deliver contracts with regional team and subcontractors.
• Review estimates and designs for buildability; lead projects from order to completion.
• Attend pre-contract and site meetings with client and sub-contractors.
• Inspect works to QA procedures and ensure conformance to designs.
• Ensure RAMS and HSEQ plans are prepared for contracts.
• Provide progress reports and propose improvements for delivery.
• Assist in estimates and pre-tender proposals.
• Support contract variations and final accounts submissions.
