We are looking for a qualified Solicitor with substantial experience in this area of law and practice. This role offers an opportunity to develop and enhance your skills through varied and quality work.
You will work as part of a team of Contract Lawyers providing legal advice on issues including Public Contract Regulations, Company law, Subsidy Control, NEC and JCT construction Contracts, and general contract queries. You will handle a full, varied caseload.
Senior Lawyers are expected to participate actively in team management, deputize for the Principal Solicitor, and contribute to delivering high-quality legal services.

The role is hybrid; remote work will be considered. Occasional office attendance may be required, with the candidate expected to collect their laptop from Reigate on the first day.
The role involves managing a group of lawyers, providing leadership, supervision, and expert legal advice to the County Council, its members, officers, and committees.
You will contribute to the wider management of Legal Services, exemplify the council's values, and deliver solutions with minimal supervision.
The role supports reducing reliance on external legal support and may involve advocacy and assisting the Monitoring Officer with legal compliance issues.
You will also participate in staff training to keep up-to-date with legal developments.
