We are looking for a qualified Solicitor with substantial experience in this area. This role offers an opportunity to develop and enhance your skills through varied and quality work.
You will work as part of a team of Contract Lawyers providing legal advice on issues including Public Contract Regulations, Company law, Subsidy Control, NEC's, JCT construction Contracts, and general contract queries. You will handle a full and demanding caseload.
Senior Lawyers are expected to manage the team, deputise for the Principal Solicitor, and contribute to delivering high-quality legal services.

The role is hybrid, with remote work considered. Occasional office attendance may be required, with the candidate expected to collect their laptop from our Reigate office on the first day.
The role involves managing a group of lawyers, providing leadership, supervision, and expert legal advice to the County Council, its members, officers, and committees.
You will contribute to the wider management of Legal Services and exemplify the council's values and behaviors.
You will manage a full caseload, deliver innovative solutions with minimal supervision, and support the council's goal to reduce reliance on external legal support. Advocacy duties may be required.
You will assist the Monitoring Officer in advising the Council on illegality or procedural defaults and contribute to staff training to keep them updated on legal issues.
