We are looking for a qualified Solicitor with substantial experience in this area of law and practice. This role offers an opportunity to develop and enhance your skills through varied and quality work.
You will work as part of a team of Contract Lawyers, providing proactive legal advice on issues including Public Contract Regulations, Company law, Subsidy Control, NEC and JCT construction Contracts, and general contract queries. You will handle a full and demanding caseload.
Senior Lawyers are involved in team management and may deputise for the Principal Solicitor, contributing to the delivery of first-class legal services.

The role is hybrid, with remote work considered. Occasional office attendance may be required, with the candidate expected to collect their laptop from our Reigate office on the first day.
This position involves managing a team of lawyers, providing leadership, supervision, and expert legal advice to the County Council, its members, officers, and committees.
You will contribute to the wider management of Legal Services, embodying the council's values and behaviors.
The role includes managing a varied caseload, delivering innovative solutions, and potentially undertaking advocacy.
You will support the Monitoring Officer in advising the Council on legal issues and contribute to staff training to keep the team updated on legal developments.
