Compensation Data

Compensation Range: $66,597.00 - $83,246.00

Job Summary

As Bids and Proposal Commercial Support Officer, you will participate in proposal preparations and pricing negotiations. Responsibilities include direct customer communication and coordination of all customer service activities in the bid and proposal spectrum, execution and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

Job Responsibilities
  • Define RFP requirements and solicit input for bid completion through cross-functional engagement.
  • Examine estimates of material, labor, and non-recurring charges to ensure alignment with customer requests.
  • Compile and analyze data, conduct status meetings, attend departmental and site meetings, and provide strategic support to the executive team.
  • Maintain historical bid information and communicate frequently with customers, management, and government representatives.
  • Assist with the preparation of quote presentations, develop in the role, and negotiate pricing with customers.
  • Support safety and environmental commitments.
  • Comply with all company policies and government regulations.
  • Travel approximately 5% as required.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Program Management, Finance, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in business development within manufacturing and/or production operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • US Citizenship required per ITAR regulations for export compliance and SSA requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with TINA, ITAR/EAR, and FAR/DFAR government contracting.
  • Strong math skills and business negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task duties effectively.
