Job summary

Creideas is recruiting for a Sales Manager role based in Leicester, working with a Leicestershire civil engineering client to lead Contractor and Merchant Sales teams. The role focuses on CRM management, forecasting, pricing strategy and building key relationships to drive account growth and customer loyalty.

You will oversee team performance, supervise credit processes, and ensure profitable GP targets while delivering excellent customer service in a hybrid working pattern.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales management within contractor or merchant channels.
• Experience in Construction, Civil Engineering or Heavy Building Materials sectors.
• Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting.
• Experience in forecasting and pipeline management.
• Strong customer relationship management and credit awareness.

Responsibilities

• Drive departmental GP targets through effective pipeline forecasting and financial management.
• Own and optimise CRM systems, ensuring accurate data and performance tracking.
• Develop strategic relationships with key merchants and contractors to maximise account growth.
• Manage project pricing and market trends to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
• Oversee customer feedback, credit approvals and service standards.
• Lead and develop internal and external sales teams, driving performance and accountability.
• Monitor sales performance through ERP reporting, quote conversions and monthly reviews.
• Ensure strong technical support and excellent customer service.
