Job summary

Adecco is recruiting a proactive Contract Consultant to support the delivery of temporary staffing and outsourced contract activity in Reading. The role combines recruitment planning, onboarding, shift allocation, attendance management, and payroll administration with strong client interaction and onsite support.

You will partner with the client and Adecco Operations Manager to ensure staffing needs are planned, managed, and delivered, maintaining accurate trackers and KPI reporting while

Qualifications

• Experience within recruitment, HR, workforce coordination, shift management, payroll, or employee relations.
• Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Confident using Microsoft Excel, recruitment/HR systems, and reporting tools.
• Clear and professional communication with candidates, associates, clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Workforce planning: Manage and maintain a pool of temporary workers, ensuring availability is aligned to client requirements.
• Attendance and employee support: Monitor attendance, absence, holidays, and general employee relations matters, escalating where appropriate.
• Shift coordination: Plan and allocate weekly shifts, responding quickly to changes in demand.
• Payroll and administration: Complete payroll processes, daily attendance reporting, and respond to associate queries.
• Onboarding and inductions: Arrange site tours, inductions and onboarding activity.
• Reporting and KPIs: Maintain trackers, compile site KPIs, and provide operational updates.
