Job summary

Principle is seeking a hands-on Contingent Workforce Operations Specialist for an eight-month contract. The role focuses on data accuracy, worker classifications and day-to-day operations, supporting the Contingent Workforce Lead through a business transition.

Hybrid role with three days onsite weekly in Reading, Berkshire. You’ll manage records, onboarding requirements and compliance, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to maintain audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in contingent workforce operations or contractor management.
• Strong understanding of worker classifications (FTE vs contingent).
• Proficient Excel with data validation and tracker management.
• Experience with onboarding, extensions, renewals and offboarding workflows.
• Familiarity with MSP, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gather, review and validate contingent worker information.
• Maintain Excel trackers and reconcile data from multiple sources.
• Distinguish between employees, contingent workers and contractors.
• Check records, classifications, tenure, rates, suppliers and contract dates.
• Coordinate with MSPs, staffing suppliers and stakeholders to fix missing or incorrect information.
