Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a Contract Manager in Berkshire to lead retrofit and decarbonisation projects for a social housing client. You will manage P&L, budgets and schedules across EWI, heat source pumps, loft insulation and solar installations, coordinating a team of site managers, RLOs and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate will have extensive retrofit project experience, strong IT skills, and a focus on safety and quality across all sites.

Qualifications

• Extensive building knowledge with Retrofit contract mgmt experience.
• Experience managing multiple site teams and strategic project planning.
• Strong IT skills, especially MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS and Asbestos Awareness are essential; Level 5 Retrofit knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure P&L, budgets and deadlines are met.
• Maintain service levels and quality while controlling costs.
• Create CPP and programming of works and budgeting.
• Implement strong Health & Safety across all projects.
• Direct a team of site managers, supervisors, RLOs and subcontractors; report to Operations Manager.

Contract Manager- Berkshire

Retrofit & Decarbonisation Projects - Social Housing

Up to £70,000 plus package

My client are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing business. They are looking for someone to join the business in an exciting period of growth on multiple projects in Berkshire.

Within this position you will be responsible for managing the delivery of decarbonisation projects that are being delivered across low & high rise tower blocks and scattered properties for a large housing association client. Works that are being delivered include EWI, Heat Source Pumps, Loft Insulation and Solar Panels.

Your team will consist of a Project Manager, three site managers and two resident liaison officers.

The Role;

Within this role, you will be responsible forensuring P&L, budgets and deadlines are met. You would also be responsible for ensuring the level of service and quality is to the highest standard as well as cost control, creating CPP & programming of works and budgeting. Implement strong H&S across all projects. Your direct team will include site management, supervisors, RLO's and subcontractors. You will report directly in to the Operations manager who will support you in making the contracts successful

The Candidate;

The ideal candidate will have extensive building knowledge and experience managing Retrofit contracts. Experience managing multiple site teams, strategically planning projects and an ability to problem solve in complex situations. A Strong knowledge around BSR and the building safety act as well as strong IT skills are essential and you must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook and Word.

Having an ability to create a strong working environment, where everyone is working as a team to achieve targets and goals on the contract, as well as being able to build strong relationships with the client and your team members.

A valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and Asbestos Awareness are essiential and a NVQ Level 6 Diploma and Level 5 Retrofit Qualification is desirable.
