Fortus Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead retrofit and decarbonisation projects in Berkshire for a major social housing client. You will oversee P&L, budgets, and programming, while ensuring high standards of service and safety.

You will manage a team comprising project managers, site managers, RLOs and subcontractors, reporting to the Operations Manager to deliver contracts on time and within budget. A strong grasp of H&S and building regulations is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive building knowledge.
• Experience managing Retrofit contracts.
• Experience leading multiple site teams.
• Strong strategic project planning and problem solving.
• Knowledge of BSR and Building Safety Act.
• Proficient IT skills; MS Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Ability to build strong client and team relationships.
• SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS and Asbestos Awareness are essential.
• NVQ Level 6 Diploma and Level 5 Retrofit Qualification desirable.

Contract Manager- Berkshire

Retrofit & Decarbonisation Projects - Social Housing

Up to £70,000 plus package

My client are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing business. They are looking for someone to join the business in an exciting period of growth on multiple projects in Berkshire.

Within this position you will be responsible for managing the delivery of decarbonisation projects that are being delivered across low & high rise tower blocks and scattered properties for a large housing association client. Works that are being delivered include EWI, Heat Source Pumps, Loft Insulation and Solar Panels.

Your team will consist of a Project Manager, three site managers and two resident liaison officers.

The Role

Within this role, you will be responsible forensuring P&L, budgets and deadlines are met. You would also be responsible for ensuring the level of service and quality is to the highest standard as well as cost control, creating CPP & programming of works and budgeting. Implement strong H&S across all projects. Your direct team will include site management, supervisors, RLO's and subcontractors. You will report directly in to the Operations manager who will support you in making the contracts successful

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have extensive building knowledge and experience managing Retrofit contracts. Experience managing multiple site teams, strategically planning projects and an ability to problem solve in complex situations. A Strong knowledge around BSR and the building safety act as well as strong IT skills are essential and you must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook and Word.

Having an ability to create a strong working environment, where everyone is working as a team to achieve targets and goals on the contract, as well as being able to build strong relationships with the client and your team members.

A valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and Asbestos Awareness are essiential and a NVQ Level 6 Diploma and Level 5 Retrofit Qualification is desirable.
