Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive building knowledge with retrofit contract management experience.
• Experience leading multiple site teams and strategic project planning.
• Strong knowledge of BSR and Building Safety Act; proficient IT (Excel/Outlook/Word).
• Ability to build a collaborative, target-driven contract team and client relationships.
• SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS and Asbestos Awareness required; NVQ Level 6 Diploma and Level 5 Retrofit Qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure P&L, budgets and deadlines are met.
• Maintain service quality to the highest standard and control costs.
• Create CPP & programming of works and budgeting.
• Implement strong H&S across all projects.
• Direct team including site management, supervisors, RLOs and subcontractors.

Contract Manager- Berkshire

Retrofit & Decarbonisation Projects - Social Housing

Up to GBP70,000 plus package

My client are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing business. They are looking for someone to join the business in an exciting period of growth on multiple projects in Berkshire.

Within this position you will be responsible for managing the delivery of decarbonisation projects that are being delivered across low & high rise tower blocks and scattered properties for a large housing association client. Works that are being delivered include EWI, Heat Source Pumps, Loft Insulation and Solar Panels.

Your team will consist of a Project Manager, three site managers and two resident liaison officers.

The Role;

Within this role, you will be responsible for ensuring P&L, budgets and deadlines are met. You would also be responsible for ensuring the level of service and quality is to the highest standard as well as cost control, creating CPP & programming of works and budgeting. Implement strong H&S across all projects. Your direct team will include site management, supervisors, RLO s and subcontractors. You will report directly in to the Operations manager who will support you in making the contracts successful

The Candidate;

The ideal candidate will have extensive building knowledge and experience managing Retrofit contracts. Experience managing multiple site teams, strategically planning projects and an ability to problem solve in complex situations. A Strong knowledge around BSR and the building safety act as well as strong IT skills are essential and you must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook and Word.

Having an ability to create a strong working environment, where everyone is working as a team to achieve targets and goals on the contract, as well as being able to build strong relationships with the client and your team members.

A valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and Asbestos Awareness are essiential and a NVQ Level 6 Diploma and Level 5 Retrofit Qualification is desirable.
