Fortus Recruitment Group Limited is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to head up a passive fire safety projects contract for social housing, covering London & Essex. The role focuses on delivering fire safety and planned maintenance on high and low rise blocks for a major housing association, with strong emphasis on budget, schedule and quality.

You will manage P&L, budgets and deadlines, enforce H&S standards, and lead site teams, subcontractors and RLOs.

Qualifications

• Extensive building knowledge and fire safety contract management experience.
• Strong knowledge of HRB projects and managing construction phase plans.
• Experience managing multiple site teams and strategic project planning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook and Word).
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
• Valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS and Asbestos Awareness are required; Level 6/7 in construction management is desirable.

Passive Fire Safety Projects- Social Housing

£70,000-£80,000 plus package (dependant on experience) plus car allowance

My client are currently looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join their growing business. They are looking for someone to head up a long term contract and join the business in an exciting period of growth.

Within this position you will be responsible for managing the delivery of Fire Safety & Planned Maintenance schemes across London & Essex. Projects that are being delivered will be across low & high rise tower blocks and scattered properties for a large housing association client.

The Role;

Within this role, you will be responsible forensuring P&L, budgets and deadlines are met. You would also be responsible for ensuring the level of service and quality is to the highest standard as well as cost control, creating CPP & programming of works and budgeting. Implement strong H&S across all projects. Your direct team will include site management, supervisors, RLO's and subcontractors. You will report directly in to the Operations manager who will support you in making the contracts successful

The Candidate;

The ideal candidate will have extensive building knowledge and experience managing fire safety contracts. Strong knowledge of projrects on HRB and managing construction phase plans. Experience managing multiple site teams, strategically planning projects and an ability to problem solve in complex situations. A Strong knowledge around BSR and the building safety act as well as strong IT skills are essential and you must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook and Word.

Having an ability to create a strong working environment, where everyone is working as a team to achieve targets and goals on the contract, as well as being able to build strong relationships with the client and your team members.

A valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and Asbestos Awareness are required. A Level 6 or 7 in construction management is also desirable.
