Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee mechanical and electrical building services maintenance contracts across London and the South East. You will lead engineering teams and coordinate subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient delivery and contract compliance.

You will be responsible for balancing service delivery with commercial performance, while developing client relationships and identifying opportunities for additional works.

Competenze

• Proven experience managing building services maintenance contracts within a mechanical and/or electrical environment.
• Strong understanding of hard FM, M&E systems and mechanical plant.
• Experience leading engineers and subcontractors and developing a team.
• Track record of managing client relationships and delivering high service standards.
• Commercial awareness including budgets, contract profitability, quotations and expansions.

Contract Manager – Building Services / Hard FM

Location: London & South East
Salary: £65,000 Car Allowance

Are you an experienced Contract Manager who knows how to lead engineering teams, build strong client relationships and deliver building services contracts successfully?

We're working with an established building services maintenance provider looking for a proactive, commercially aware Contract Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of contracts across London and the South East.

This is an opportunity to join a business where you'll have real responsibility for service delivery, team performance and commercial results, with the opportunity to develop existing client relationships and identify opportunities to grow the portfolio.

The opportunity

You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of mechanical and electrical building services maintenance contracts, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.

Combining operational management, client engagement and commercial responsibility, you'll act as a key point of contact for clients while leading engineers and coordinating subcontractors to maintain high standards of service.

You'll need to be comfortable balancing the day-to-day demands of contract delivery with financial performance, people management and identifying opportunities for additional works.

What we're looking for

We're looking for an accountable, client-focused Contract Manager who can take ownership of their contracts, lead from the front and understand the commercial drivers behind successful service delivery.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Proven experience managing building services maintenance contracts within a mechanical and/or electrical environment.
• A strong understanding of hard FM, M&E systems and mechanical plant.
• Experience managing engineers and subcontractors, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• A strong track record of managing client relationships and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
• Commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets, contract profitability, quotations and additional works.
