NHS Professionals Limited seeks an experienced IT Systems Engineer to support hybrid infrastructure across cloud platforms and on-premises estates. The role involves ownership of complex issues, project delivery, and ongoing security alignment.

Qualifications

• Technical experience supporting and maintaining Microsoft technologies and solutions.
• A levels or equivalent education; IT industry certifications are desirable.
• Hands-on consultative approach to working with customers and senior staff.
• Strong collaboration with operational IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support for cloud-hosted and on-premises server environments and networks.
• Contribute to lifecycle management and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure.
• Participate in change control, testing, and deployment of infrastructure services.
• Take a proactive approach to technical issues and requirements with the service delivery team.
• Provide 3rd-line IT infrastructure support to the business within SLAs.
• Mentor and share knowledge with operational support teams and peers.
• Collaborate with NHS Professionals security team to strengthen security posture.
• Ensure documentation for IT infrastructure services and processes is accurate and up to date.
