Job description

This Continuous Improvement Coordinator role is with a European Blue Chip Manufacturing Client, a world-leading manufacturer seeking a skilled Continuous Improvement Coordinator to join their Manufacturing Team.

The company is a market leader and international manufacturer, known for investing in and developing employees at all levels, offering extensive training and career progression opportunities.

Main Responsibilities of the Continuous Improvement Coordinator:
  1. Deliver CI projects to support operational and engineering teams in improving plant output and quality.
  2. Support the delivery of financial budgets aligned with KPIs such as waste, TOS, efficiency, machine uptime, planned tonnage, and safety.
  3. Leverage and develop site capability on CI tools and techniques (Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, SMED, 5S, Line-balancing, Centrelines).
  4. Support the maintenance and enhancement of CI in our bakery OEE performance management system.
  5. Support embedding site values as part of CI strategies.
  6. Demonstrate health and safety adherence and promote cultural behaviors to support site culture.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar relevant qualification in CI.
  • Previous experience and qualifications in Manufacturing Excellence.
  • Strong understanding and application of CI tools and techniques, including DMAIC, SMED, 5S, Centerlining, SIC, Kaizen, and Line Balancing.
  • Experience working with overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) software systems.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and present reports effectively.
