The Company

An entrepreneurial food business known for their fresh, innovative products is expanding their team. They are seeking a QA Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality products for their customers.

The Role

Reporting to the Group Technical Manager, you will work with a small, capable team to ensure products meet quality, safety, and legality standards. Responsibilities include overseeing the factory technical function, supporting the implementation of Technical and Quality Standards, working with Operations to resolve non-conformances and food safety risks, managing complaint investigations and audits, and liaising with customers to analyze and prevent issues.

You will lead your team of QAs and QCs to promote a "right first time" culture through effective QA systems aligned with legislation, while providing training and development opportunities.

The Person

Ideal candidates will have experience in a complex chilled manufacturing environment, with a proven track record managing HACCP and BRC standards. You should be ambitious, technically knowledgeable, and skilled in quality assurance. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels are essential. You must thrive in a dynamic environment, manage change effectively, and be eager to grow with the business.
