Most of our games have been developed by our in-house Game Studios using a range of different technologies.

The Games Development Kit (GDK) is our innovative platform which enables game studios to create these exciting world class games. We’re looking for a QA Lead to work closely with our technical leaders and Games Studios to help develop and deliver new features on the platform. You will be responsible for the QA vision, documentation, and standards adopted within the GDK team. To achieve this, you will use a combination of manual and automation testing, ensuring upcoming and evolving technologies are considered. As a core part of the business, you can expect to be working with game studios internationally, who will be delivering their games to players via the GDK platform.

What You'll Do

1. Oversee the creation and implementation of comprehensive test strategies to ensure each release not only meets high-quality standards and aligns with business requirements but also optimizes testing processes for efficiency.
2. Lead the advocacy for quality across the company, coordinating both manual and automated testing efforts and ensuring a balanced approach to covering both functional and non-functional aspects.
3. Help supervise the maintenance of API documentation and ensure test consistency across all projects. Guide and onboard QA engineers in Game Studios to keep test suites and documentation up to date and accurate.
4. Oversee the analysis and reporting of bug statistics, using data to drive decisions that improve product quality and inform development priorities.
5. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Product and Development Managers and Technical Architects, to ensure seamless integration and quality of features.
6. Continuously seek and implement improvements within your role's scope, demonstrating a proactive approach to enhancing QA processes and tools.

What We're Looking For

1. Proven leadership skills with experience managing QA engineers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
2. Strategic planning skills with the ability to develop and implement QA processes and methodologies that align with business objectives and project timelines.
3. Expertise in developing and overseeing the implementation of comprehensive test suites, as well as mentoring team members in best practices for test case creation.
4. Demonstrable experience with browser developer tools for effective testing.
5. Experience in both desktop and mobile testing environments.
6. Proficient in Agile methodologies, specifically Kanban, to facilitate team collaboration and efficient workflow.
7. Experience with TestRail or similar test case management tools.
8. Skilled in exploratory testing, maximizing test coverage and efficiency.
9. Proficiency in API testing with tools such as Postman.
