Overview

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of all social media channels, including content creation for one of the UK's best-known fashion footwear & accessories brands. We’re looking for somebody who loves fashion and cultural moments and can translate this into relevant and engaging content stories. You are creative and strategic with a clear understanding of different audiences across each social platform and how best to engage them and at what frequency. An analytical mind is also desired, able to look at performance and study results to identify future opportunities. You will need to have lots of ideas and the tenacity to execute them seamlessly with exceptional attention to detail. Great people skills, enthusiasm, energy and an unfaltering work ethic are essential. You must be curious, ambitious, hard‑working and a real team player. Working in a fast‑paced and fluid business, you should be adaptable to change and have the confidence to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a consistently high quality of work.

It has 50 stores in the UK and over 100 in 25 countries around the world. The company is entering a period of sustained growth through additional stores, expansion of sales on its online channels and third‑party partners both in the UK and globally. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the group has built an enviable position as the specialist in quality fashion footwear and accessories which has given it a unique position at the high end of the high street.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and implement the end-to-end social process including content creation, copywriting guidance, scheduling, analysis and reporting across channels – Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, Threads and LinkedIn.
  • Use social tools to report on and measure success to inform future planning and provide weekly stats.
  • Build and maintain strong influencer relationships with our fashion community in tandem with the PR team, including onboarding new affiliates through an Affiliate Agency, maintaining weekly monitoring reports and developing strategy to inform future planning and implementation. Liaise regularly with the Performance Marketing Team who manage Tactical Affiliate partnerships while Social manages the Influencer partnerships.
  • Monitor and manage which posts get boosted/sponsored, ensuring it is on budget, regularly reviewed, and shared with the Head of Marketing.
  • Manage ATL brand advertising on TikTok and support the launch and ongoing content management of TikTok Shop.
  • Manage the content production from the social media team for weekly purposes and from bigger campaign and sub‑campaign shoot moments, including ideation, planning, editing, and scheduling with support from the social media executive.
  • Monitor and support international social media accounts to ensure content is on‑brand and aligned with the UK.
  • Assist with community management and the delivery of UGC, monitoring comments on posts, replying and reacting to anything in a timely manner and in a brand‑recognisable tone of voice.
  • Support cross‑channel marketing planning to ensure social content aligns with wider marketing communications and delivers a consistent message to customers.
  • Work on the development and delivery of a brand Influencer programme that sits alongside our affiliate programme and in tandem with PR objectives and the PR team.
  • Maintain a constant review of content to ensure it is elevated and aligned with our business and brand strategy.
  • Attend and capture content from photo shoots and events for both B2C and B2B purposes.
  • Manage and develop a social marketing executive and marketing intern.
  • Work closely with the buying team and buying director to ensure the social strategy is aligned with product strategy and supports tactical needs.
  • Responsible for the Social Media budget and tracking.
  • Monitor the channels at weekends to ensure comments are managed in a timely way and that reshares of relevant stories are executed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of social and content experience, ideally in fashion.
  • Excellent working knowledge and understanding of all social media platforms.
  • Working knowledge of content management tools.
  • Proven experience in creating social media content and writing accompanying copy (Instagram / Stories priority).
  • Passionate about fashion, influencers and popular culture generally.
  • A creative eye and attention to detail, with experience briefing marketing creative or managing projects preferred.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Familiar with Photoshop and other creative programs; graphic design/photography/video production experience is a bonus but not mandatory.
  • A real team player with strong people skills and the ability to forge great working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Works well in a fast‑paced commercial environment, dealing well with tight deadlines.
  • A problem solver who uses their initiative to find solutions.
  • Self‑motivated, positive and easy‑going.
