Job summary

The Associated Press in the United Kingdom is seeking a highly organized Coordinator to join AP Content Services, reporting to the Head of Production. The role supports day-to-day administration and management of content services, photo and video assignment sales.

You will coordinate with sales, marketing, finance, accounts receivable and legal; manage briefs, call sheets, budgets, scheduling, and invoicing for freelancers and crews.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Office suite software (Microsoft or equivalent).
• General knowledge of video workflows, photography and photo production.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be highly motivated, independent and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work nights and weekends when necessary.
• Eagerness to learn all aspects of the industry, new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Log and track new projects, vendors and clients.
• Track revenue and costs.
• Support invoicing and billing enquiries relating to freelancers and crews.
• Assist on draft budgets, production schedules and workflows.
• Coordinate crewing and equipment resources plus budgets and pricing.
• Monitor end-to-end progress of multiple shoots, ensuring schedule meets client specs.
• Edit stills and video, metadata entry.
• Perform quality control on fulfilled jobs.
• Upload content to portals and update databases.
• Send contracts to clients.
• Assist with inbound enquiries regarding AP Content Services products.
