Job summary

VML is seeking a Content Designer to join the London-based design team on a permanent basis. You will craft end-to-end content for client website experiences, shaping journeys that feel personal and effortless while balancing business goals with user needs.

You’ll collaborate with UX/UI, researchers, product owners, and developers, using Figma to wireframe and prototype, ensure accessibility, and continuously improve content based on data and testing insights.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience in content design, UX writing, or digital copywriting for customer-facing digital products.
• Portfolio demonstrating practical examples of content design—user journeys, wireframes, testing or iterative improvements from data.
• Experience using quantitative metrics and qualitative research/testing to guide content decisions.
• Ability to collaborate across design, product, brand and marketing teams.
• A degree or equivalent practical experience in English, Journalism, Communications, HCI, UX Design, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design clear, engaging, and consistent content across digital touchpoints, focusing on vehicle/nameplate updates and landing pages.
• Map journeys with designers, define user flows, and wireframe content-led landing pages in Figma.
• Apply tone of voice and accessibility principles across touchpoints from discovery to detail pages and CTAs.
• Collaborate with researchers to formulate hypotheses and define content testing methods.
• Contribute to evolving content guidelines, taxonomy, and design system standards.
• Balance multiple workstreams with support from a senior/lead or delivery manager.
