About the Opportunity

Kantata is seeking a Content Designer to play a key role in the Content Design Team, responsible for creating, editing and maintaining content that educates, informs and helps our audience; customers, Kantata employees and Partners. Supporting the optimal understanding and use of our products and services. You will provide feedback and input during the product development cycle, helping to ensure consistency and clarity within the product and the supporting collateral, Reporting to the Director, Content Design, you will ensure existing processes are followed, and contribute to improvements in the way we work as our processes and technology evolve.

In this role you will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, PS and Support teams, as part of a continuous feedback loop to enhance our collateral. We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Content Designer or Technical Writer with a passion for technology, eager to engage deeply with our products and contribute hands-on, bringing problem-solving skills to deliver measurable results and foster innovation.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Produce a variety of content to nurture and help customers, employees and partners optimally use our products and services (including Release Notes, User Guides/Manuals, Known Issues and Troubleshooting Collateral, Webinars and Videos)
  • Present information and instructions in a clear and concise way; ensure greatest reader comprehension and write and edit technical information accordingly
  • Prepare graphics and illustrations; elaborate on and complement technical writing, including screenshots, flow charts and diagrams
  • Meet with stakeholders including customers; discuss technical problems in order to produce content which addresses their issue
  • Work closely with the Product Team; ensure that documentation meets product requirements
  • Revise, edit and update instructions, technical information, and frequently asked questions
  • Stay up-to-date; maintain an understanding of technological and product developments as well as universal specifications relevant to the PSA / SaaS industry
  • Investigate enhanced tools in areas such as knowledge base, in-app help, enterprise search and AI. Engage with stakeholders on projects to enhance our tech stack for enhanced efficiency and scalability.
What You Bring to this Role
  • Experience writing technical documentation for complex software applications
  • Strong understanding of software from a usability and content design perspective
  • Experience of translating complex information into accessible information
  • Knowledge and appreciation of cloud-based technologies / business software solutions
  • Ability to pick up new technology and functional concepts quickly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ideal candidates will also have
  • Professional Services domain knowledge – experience in and a high-level understanding of the processes and challenges faced by Professional Services and Embedded Services organizations
  • Experience working with Salesforce in a technical or administration capacity
