Job summary

Experis is seeking a Content Designer for a 3 month contract in Telford/Worthing, hybrid with 2 days on site. You will lead all aspects of Content Design, collaborating with UX/UI Designers, Researchers and Product teams to craft clear, accessible content for new digital services.

You will translate complex processes into simple language and tailor messages to engage online users, including those who rarely go online, within an agile delivery framework.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience of writing for the web with accessible and usable content.
• Experience of user-centred design with metrics and user feedback.
• Experience in choosing best formats for displaying information to the user.
• Proven experience in working within a web, online and digital environment.
• Experience in working with content management and publishing systems.
• Proficient in writing Markdown.
• Ideally knowledge of CESA.

Responsibilities

• Leads on all aspects of Content Design.
• Collaborates with UX/UI Designers and User Researchers to design content for transactional services.
• Writes high quality content to encourage use of new digital services.
• Defines messages with Product Manager, Digital Service Manager, Business Analysts and Researchers.
• Translates complex language and processes into simple content.
• Develops content to engage those who rarely go online.
• Works within an agile delivery model with internal and external teams.
