Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd is seeking a Consumer Protection and Advertising Co-Ordinator to join the Legal & Compliance team in the UK. You will provide practical compliance advice, develop policies, deliver training and support audits across consumer protection and marketing areas.

The role covers advertising regulation, age-restricted sales, and responses to evolving regulatory requirements, with a hybrid work pattern and a focus on customer trust and commercial innovation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of consumer protection legislation and regulatory environment.
• Experience with advertising regulation and CAP/BCAP codes.
• Ability to assess risk and provide pragmatic, commercially aware solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide consumer protection compliance advice on pricing, claims, age-restricted sales and advertising.
• Support the operation of age-restricted products test purchase programme.
• Contribute to readiness for regulator frameworks and assurance programmes.
• Support new consumer protection legislation implementation and guidance.
• Lead creation, review and maintenance of consumer protection policies and guidance.
• Develop and deliver training programmes across compliance areas.
• Investigate and respond to regulatory contacts with root-cause analysis.
• Review marketing communications across Asda and George brands.
