University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is recruiting up to two Consultant Hepatologists to join an expanding hepatology service across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. The role includes inpatient bed cover, GI bleed on-call duties, outpatient clinics, and endoscopy sessions.

The post offers involvement in the Endoscopy Training Academy, SPA time for revalidation, audit, CPD, and teaching, with a typical allocation of 2.5 SPA PAs and flexible working opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Rotational cover for 21-24 inpatient hepatology beds at Leicester Royal Infirmary.
• Participation in a 1:17 GI bleed on-call rota.
• Deliver hepatology outpatient clinics and endoscopy sessions across UHL and community settings.
