Job summary

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a replacement Consultant post in Gastroenterology and Hepatology based at Luton & Dunstable University Hospital. The appointee will run regular clinics and endoscopy sessions, with OOH bleed on-call support and ward cover as part of a dynamic team.

The role involves inpatient and outpatient care, teaching, audits and CME as well as contributing to clinical governance and service development within the Trust.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Hepatology and Gastroenterology care to inpatients and outpatients at Luton & Dunstable University Hospital.
• Run regular Hepatology and Gastroenterology clinics and endoscopy sessions.
• Support the team with the OOH bleed rota on-call and ward cover.
• Contribute to clinical governance, audits, CME and teaching within the department.
